When coming to my classes, you can always expect a good time! I like playing games, being loud, dancing and singing off key, and throwing encouragement around like confetti! I am also a stickler for form and mobility because keeping your body safe is my number one priority! I’ve played sports my whole life. I played volleyball through college and when that was over, I fell into a
little depression because all I had known was playing sports competitively. That’s when I took up running and later CrossFit. I can’t say that I’m competitive in them, but it allows me to be competitive with myself and that’s all that matters—bettering OURSELVES every day! When I’m not coaching you can catch me anywhere in the North End—home, restaurants, church,
coffee shops, parks, running in the foot hills, hiking the trails near Bogus Basin. I’m very introverted so when I’m not being bubbly and loud in a class, I’m recharging in one of these places by myself or with my family. This is usually done with headphones in and listening to a true crime podcast (SSDGM!).

3 Random Facts about Me:
I was in a Calia by Carrie Underwood commercial doing the Hero WOD Murph. A clip of my daughter and I doing pushups was also featured on the Instagram page.

My biggest dream is to be a musician that plays the guitar and sings in coffee shops and restaurants (think Phoebe from Friends—hopefully better) but I have debilitating stage fright that I’m working through.

I LOVE to write! I have a blog where I write about topics that make people uncomfortable such as anxiety/depression, sexual assault, miscarriages, losing loved ones, navigating religion and politics, divorce, cancer scares, etc. because I am nothing if I’m not my authentic, true self and writing allows me to navigate this crazy world.
