When I am coaching, you should expect I will always demonstrate and cue proper form for movements being performed. Safety and success are very important to me, encouraging proper technique makes the athlete more efficient and less prone to injury. I aim to make class fun but productive. I will push you when needed and let you know when and if you need to slow down or lower weight. I do my best to make class the best part of your day.
Fitness has been a part of my life since I was a kid. I competed in Gymnastics and Cheer as a child and was also involved in Dance. From there, a love of movement was born. I fell into group fitness at eighteen, taking and then teaching step aerobics and kick boxing. I was introduced to CrossFit by my older brother and fell in love. I have been part of the CrossFit community for seven years. I love to share how fitness and movement in general can improve your life in so many ways; physically, emotionally, and mentally.
If I’m not coaching, you will find me with my kids at some sporting event. I have two boys (13, and 11) who stay very active playing competitive baseball, football, wrestling and even dance. It is so fun to watch them do what they love and develop a love of movement themselves.
