Insanity aims to burn fat in an upbeat, challenging environment. You
work flat out in 3 to 5-minute blocks, and take breaks only long enough
to catch your breath and get right back to work. This type of work is
referred to as Max Interval Training, because it keeps your body working
at maximum capacity through your entire workout. By pushing your limits
your body is forced to adapt to your new strength and push harder and
further as you continue in the program.
