5 Things to Know if you feel behind at the gym

Trust me when I say that there are days where workouts feel so "outlandish" and I feel completely lost! But there are others getting through it like a walk in the park! I have some health issues that keep me from going at a high intensity and I need some modifications. This is where being at Camp Rhino Boise has been a game changer for me. The coaches here are top-notch and want you to know these 5 things:

  1. Don't Panic! We are so happy you are here and we are going to help you in any way we can.
  2. Focus on Consistency. If you know us, you know we preach that it is so important to show up. Showing up for yourself daily creates a habit which creates a lifestyle.
  3. Get to know your coach! Your coach wants the best for you, and letting them know what your concerns are can help them better understand your capabilities. Our coaches are always making modifications for those who need it.
  4. Set & Celebrate Realistic Goals! Work with your coach by setting goals you can attain. Take all things into consideration, don’t be afraid to go big, and celebrate every small win.
  5. Seek Support. Share your feelings with a workout buddy, friend, or a fitness professional. They can provide encouragement, share experiences, and offer guidance.

Considering these points has helped tremendously in my fitness and life journey. It keeps me grounded and reminds me that it is MY journey and I am the author of it.
